Healed self harm scars aren’t perfect if they’re on you, personally whenever I look at my scars I remember all the bad thoughts and feelings I had for me to make those scars. They are not a happy or good looking thing. Also my scars are ugly to me, they will affect my future careers and how people will view me on the street. That is not at all ‘perfect’.

When I look at my scars I think of everything that made me put them there. I think about the nights full of tears and pain. Nothing feels better than looking at something that was once broken and bleeding, and seeing that it’s healed. It’s how I keep going. It shows that things do get better. We cut and our body gives us scars. Our body heals itself because it doesn’t want to be hurt. It wants us to get better. So yeah. They are perfect.

So today I learned that Eucalyptus leaves have this chemical in them and when koalas eat the leaves the chemical makes them drunk but since koalas only eat Eucalyptus leaves they basically go through their entire lives forever drunk.
