Marry Me Someday

Sierra and I met at a Summer Camp in 2007.
I’d see her everyday for the whole
summer and I was perfectly fine with that.
I liked seeing and talking to her, I didn’t have
to act like a different person. After Summer
Camp was over, we didn’t talk or see each
other since we were in different schools.
I had no idea that in my seventh grade year
she was in the same school that I was in
until I saw her in a high school French class.
Even though we were in the same class, we
didn’t really talk much. On the night of April
15th, I went to the Rollerdrome with my
friend that was going to spend the night at
my house. It wasn’t much going there. It
was something to pass Friday nights.
Coincidentally, Sierra was there also. She
came up to us and talked to us, mainly to me
but to my friend too. Once she came up to me
and my friend, we just didn’t stop talking,
the conversation was just going great. It was
as if we picked up were we left off in 2007.
There wouldn’t be awkward silence or
anything, conversations full of
life and full of laughs. When it was time for
me to go home,
Sierra asked me to text her when I
got home.
And of course I wanted to, I hadn’t
had a conversation that amazing since a long
time ago. After a little while, I got her
number and we talked for a long time. For
about a month we were the bestest of
friends and we were really close. The fun
conversations that occurred on April 15th
didn’t die, they seemed to get better, more
laughs, more smiles, and more of my love
growing for her. On May 7th she asked me
out at 9:56 PM and I said yes. I knew that
this meant that I could call her mine and she
could call me hers. We have had rough times
and sometimes we’ve reached out breaking
point, but I know that the sun will always
shine on another day, and she is my
sunshine. I want to get married to this
beautiful girl, Sierra Dalton Copland, because I
love her with all of my heart, from top to bottom.<3
